Lancashire finalise pre-season games
Lancashire have finalised their schedule of pre-season friendlies.
As last year, the Lightning are taking part in the Fly Emirates Pro ARCH Trophy in the United Arab Emirates next month.
On their return, Lancashire will play four further fixtures, including three one-day matches and a three-day game against Durham UCCE.
Lancashire director of cricket Mike Watkinson said: “Although the squad have been in full-time training since December and are in excellent physical shape, from March our focus will turn to becoming match fit and honing our cricketing skills ahead of the new season.
“We have a good programme of pre-season friendlies that will provide the opportunity for all squad members to push for first team selection ahead of our first Friends Provident Trophy and championship fixtures.”
Lancashire’s Friends Provident Trophy campaign begins at home to Glamorgan Dragons on April 19. Their first LV County Championship Division One fixture begins against Sussex at Hove on April 21.
