Lancashire have responded to the economic climate by announcing a freeze on ticket prices for all 2009 domestic matches at Old Trafford.
With no price rise, adult and senior citizen tickets for Friends Provident Trophy and NatWest Pro40 fixtures will be £10 in advance or £14 on the day, with under-16 tickets remaining at £5 in advance or £7 on the gate.
Twenty20 Cup tickets will cost £12 for adults in advance (excluding the Yorkshire fixture) and £16 on the day. Tickets for Under-16s stay at £6 in advance or £8 on the day.
With the construction of the new conference and events centre at Old Trafford the capacity this season will be reduced from 16,000 to 12,000 so the club are urging supporters to buy tickets in advance.
Lancashire commercial director Geoff Durbin said: “Cricket at Old Trafford has always been excellent value for money and a great day out for people of all ages.
“In these testing economic times, we want all sports fans to be able to watch exciting and competitive domestic cricket without loosening the purse strings, this is why we have decided to freeze prices for 2009.”
Tickets for all domestic matches at Old Trafford are now on sale by calling 08 444 999 666 or online at www.lccc.co.uk/tickets.
