Lancashire Sport Relief

England players Andrew Flintoff, James Anderson and Sajid Mahmood showed their support for this year’s Sport Relief as they joined Lancashire team-mates in a photo shoot at Old Trafford.

Along with head coach Peter Moores, the players modelled items from the Sport Relief merchandise range.

Fast-bowler Anderson said: “Sport brings people and communities together like no other activity.

“During last year’s Ashes, the England team received so much support from people across the country and if all those supporters got involved in this year’s Sport Relief - that would help raise a lot of money for those less fortunate than ourselves.”

The Sport Relief weekend takes place on Friday March 19 to Sunday March 21 with an evening of entertainment on BBC One and Sport Relief Mile events across the UK.

As one of the UK’s biggest fundraising events, Sport Relief aims to inspire the nation to get active, raise cash and change lives.

All the money raised will help transform the lives of those living tough lives across the UK and the world’s poorest countries.
Since its launch in 2002, millions of people have taken part, helping to raise over £80million.
