Leicestershire follow Barbados trend

West Indies batsman Ramnaresh Sarwan will link up with Leicestershire on their pre-season tour of Barbados next month
Leicestershire have become the sixth county to opt for a pre-season tour of Barbados next month.
While there, they will play a two-day game with Derbyshire from March 19 and a 40-over match versus Warwickshire on March 22.
The Friends Life t20 champions will then compete in the 20-over Barbados Cup, starting with a quarter-final against Combined Campuses & Colleges on March 24. The result will dictate whether they feature in the main competition or plate the following day.
Head coach Phil Whitticase said: “The key thing is outdoor practice, what we need with the season starting in early April. It will be a good combination of a two-day game and 40-over and t20 games, so it is covering all fronts.”
The trip will see new overseas signing Ramnaresh Sarwan, the West Indies batsman from Guyana, link up with Leicestershire.
