Boyce accomplishes epic feat

Leicestershire batsman Matthew Boyce yesterday completed a walk from John O’Groats to Land’s End, which he undertook to raise awareness of depression in sport.

The 27-year-old, who has never suffered from mental-health issues, embarked upon the 66-day off-road trek to raise money for charity MIND and the PCA Benevolent Fund.

He tweeted: “Pleased to announce that I've completed my 66 day walk of Britain for Mind and the PCA Benevolent Fund. Thanks to everyone who joined/ supported me... Proud to have shared the experience… You can still donate until March!!!”
