Hampshire, out to defend their t20 crown, will meet last year's runners-up Somerset in the second semi-final at Edgbaston

Hampshire and Somerset will meet in the semi-finals of the Friends Life t20 - in a repeat of last year’s memorable final.

Hampshire, who lifted the trophy in sensational fashion 12 months ago by virtue of losing fewer wickets after the scores were tied, were paired with Somerset in tonight’s draw.

They will contest the second semi-final on finals day at Edgbaston on August 27, after Lancashire clash with Leicestershire.

Lancashire completed the line-up for the last four this evening courtesy of a 20-run victory over Sussex at the PROBIZ County Ground.

Finals day schedule

First semi-final - 11am: Leicestershire vs Lancashire

Second semi-final - 14.30pm: Hampshire vs Somerset

Final - 18.45pm
