In-form Joseph extends Leicestershire stay
Robbie Joseph has been rewarded for his impressive form with a contract extension at Leicestershire.
The 30-year-old seamer, who parted company with Kent last November, arrived at Grace Road on a deal until the end of May after impressing during a pre-season trial.
But after taking 17 wickets in the LV= County Championship - including 12-111 on debut in the win over Glamorgan - Joseph, who earlier this month told ecb.co.uk he was concentrating on his form rather than his future, will now stay at the club until the end of the season.
Leicestershire chief executive Mike Siddall said: “We are all really pleased that Robbie has agreed to stay with us as he's had an excellent start to the season."
