Naik and Henderson pen new deals

Leicestershire have been boosted by the news that their leading spinners Jigar Naik, pictured, and Claude Henderson have signed new deals
Leicestershire spin twins Claude Henderson and Jigar Naik have been rewarded for their form in the LV= County Championship with new two-year deals.
Despite Matthew Hoggard’s men collecting the wooden spoon in Division Two this season, Henderson and Naik have finished as the club’s joint leading wicket-takers, with 40 scalps apiece.
Henderson, aged 39, is Leicestershire's leading Twenty20 wicket-taker and the slow left-armer has also taken more than 300 first-class wickets for the county with a best of 7-74, while off-spinner Naik, 27, topped the national bowling averages in 2010.
The deals will see the spinners stay at Grace Road until the end of the 2013 season and chief executive Mike Siddall is delighted the pair have extended their stay.
He said: "Claude and Jigar are an integral part of the club's bowling attack and their form over the past few seasons has been excellent.
"Claude's four overs for only 11 runs in the Friends Life t20 final strangled the life out of Somerset and Jigar's consistency in the four-day game has been excellent this season."
