Somerset postpone AGM

Somerset have postponed their annual general meeting, which was scheduled for this evening, due to adverse weather conditions.

A club statement read: “Having assessed the weather and likely road conditions, Somerset County Cricket Club has taken the decision to cancel this evening’s AGM.

“The safety of our members is of paramount importance and, with this in mind, and with the snow still falling in Taunton, the decision has been taken to postpone the event. A new date will be announced as soon as possible.

“The club would like to apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.”
