Pietersen extends Surrey stay

England's Kevin Pietersen will stay with Surrey for the remainder of his international career after he agreed a new contract at the Kia Oval
Kevin Pietersen has signed a new contract with Surrey that will see him remain at the Kia Oval until the end of his international career.
Pietersen’s fresh deal will run for as long as the batsman retains his central contract with England.
The 31-year-old initially joined Surrey on loan in 2010 before penning a full one-year deal.
His commitments with England ensured he featured in just two first-class matches and two Twenty20 games for the county this summer as they gained promotion to Division One of the LV= County Championship and lifted the Clydesdale Bank 40.
Pietersen said: “Surrey is a fantastic club and I have been really impressed with the environment and work ethic in place. Their recent success is well deserved and I look forward to working with them in 2012.”
