Surrey have made Scott Newman and James Benning available for a loan spell with another county.
Newman, 29, the opening batsman, scored centuries of 130 and 177 in the Brown Caps’ Friends Provident Trophy campaign, and also made 124 versus Derbyshire in April’s LV= County Championship match.
Benning, a 26-year-old all-rounder, has been a Twenty20 Cup regular, but has struggled to establish himself in other forms of cricket.
