Sussex say goodbye to Naveed
Naveed Arif Gondal has been released by Sussex after spending two seasons at the PROBIZ County Ground.
The 30-year-old left-arm seamer represented Sussex in 30 matches across all formats, although he did not feature after playing in the LV= County Championship match against Warwickshire in mid-July.
Mark Robinson, the club’s professional cricket manager, said: “It is always sad when any player leaves us and it is no different with Naveed.
“We would like to thank him for his wholehearted contribution both on and off the pitch and we wish him well in the future.”
