Second cancellation for Sussex

Sussex have been foced into consecutive cancellations

Further bad weather on the south coast has forced Sussex to cancel their two-day friendly, due to start tomorrow, against Northamptonshire at Hove.

Sussex yesterday called off today’s one-day game versus Nottinghamshire, also at Hove, due to the inclemency.

Their first domestic game this year will now be in the LV= County Championship Division Two clash against Glamorgan, from April 9, at the SWALEC Stadium.

Sussex’s first home encounter is the visit of Surrey - set to be captained by Rory Hamilton-Brown, who left Sussex for his original county in December - from April 15.
