Sussex crashed out of the Caribbean T20 with a third defeat in four Group B matches, losing by eight wickets to Barbados in Bridgetown.
The county side began the competition with a 34-run win over the Netherlands, but then lost to Jamaica by 50 runs and Combined Campuses & Colleges by 29 runs.
After being bowled out for just 89 today, Sussex never looked like being able to deny Barbados a victory which was achieved with 32 balls to spare.
Only three Sussex batsmen made it to double figures, with opener Chris Nash contributing 18, Ben Brown 13 and captain Michael Yardy top-scoring with 33 from 34 deliveries.
Fidel Edwards and Tino Best took three wickets each for Barbados, who eased to their victory target of 90.
Dwayne Smith was run out for eight by Joe Gatting and leg-spinner Will Beer removed Jonathan Carter for seven, but Kevin Stoute and Shane Dowrich secured a comfortable win with 37 and 23 respectively.
