Warwickshire mourn Cherry

Hugh Cherry, Warwickshire's under-19 manager for over 40 years and also a committee member, has died.

Cherry played his part in helping the likes of Gladstone Small, Asif Din, Dominic Ostler, Ian Westwood and current captain Jim Troughton play for Warwickshire.

Chief executive Colin Povey said: "Hugh was a brilliant servant to the club, and devoted his life to cricket. He will be sadly missed and our thoughts are with his family at this sad time."
