New Road hit by flooding once more
Worcestershire have confirmed their ground New Road has again been flooded by heavy rainfall that has affected much of England in the last few days.
They will be able to fully function in the off-season, however, as their administrative operation has been re-located to the Cricket Suite, while a temporary bridge has been built to provide access to the Graeme Hick Pavilion.
The county's headquarters suffered a similar fate in 2007, which ruled out any cricket on the ground for the final three months of the season.
