Worcestershire are unlikely to play at New Road again this season after their riverside ground was flooded late yesterday evening.
The county will make an announcement tomorrow when they are expected to confirm that Kidderminster will host their last two games, both against Middlesex, in the NatWest Pro40 League next Sunday and LV County Championship Division Two on September 17.
After last year’s flooding, which prevented any cricket at New Road after June, Worcestershire agreed a contingency plan for matches to be switched to Kidderminster at short notice.
