Scott stays at New Road

Ben Scott will become a permanent member of Worcestershire's playing staff next year, having impressed during two loan spells at New Road
Wicketkeeper-batsman Ben Scott has signed a one-year deal with Worcestershire, where he has spent much of the last two seasons on loan.
Scott was initially loaned to the club from Middlesex last summer and has been a regular fixture in the team since returning for a second spell earlier this year.
The 30-year-old will now move to New Road on a permanent deal, ending an association with Middlesex that began in 2004.
Scott said: “I enjoyed my time at Middlesex thoroughly, winning the Twenty20 Cup (in 2008) and having the opportunity of playing for England Lions, and I’m looking forward to new challenges.
"The atmosphere and set-up at New Road is superb, they've been extremely welcoming to me over the last two years and I am delighted to make it full-time."
Worcestershire director of cricket Steve Rhodes added: "We're thrilled that Ben will continue his association with us when his latest loan period ends.
“He adds energy, enthusiasm, and experience to the team, which will be vital attributes when we look to improve and progress in 2012."
