Choudhry pens Worcestershire deal

Shaaiq Choudhry has agreed a new contract that will keep at New Road until the end of the 2011 campaign
Emerging all-rounder Shaaiq Choudhry has signed a full-time contract with Worcestershire until the end of next season, following an extended trial.
The 24-year-old left-arm spinner and right-hand batsman, who was on Warwickshire’s books last year, made his Worcestershire first-class debut in May against Sussex and has continued to perform well in the second team.
Worcestershire director of cricket Steve Rhodes said: "We have been looking for a young English left-arm spinner for some time and I am pleased with the progress that Shaaiq has made in recent weeks.
“This contract will give him the confidence to settle in with the club during the remainder of this season and through the winter.”
