Worcestershire have confirmed their remaining home matches this season have been moved to Kidderminster following serious flooding of New Road over the weekend.
The county immediately put their contingency plan into place with both games against Middlesex, in the NatWest Pro40 and LV County Championship, to be played at Chester Road.
Worcestershire were forced to use the Kidderminster venue last season after the River Severn burst its banks.
The county lost more than £1million during the summer of 2007 as no matches could be played at New Road after June 21.
Chief executive Mark Newton has urged supporters to get behind the team as they push for promotion to Division one of the championship.
He said: "Following Graeme Hick's announcement about his retirement from county cricket at the end of the season, interest about these two fixtures has been immense.
“Cricket followers throughout the country want to see his last few innings at New Road but the irony is that he started his cricket in England at Kidderminster.
“We hope that our members and supporters will make every effort to come to the cricket and give Graeme the send off he deserves as the team look to finish off the season as (LV County Championship) Division Two champions.
“Together with the Kidderminster officials, we will put into place the best infrastructure we can for the numbers expected. As usual at Chester Road, we urge people to bring their own seats, food and drink (maximum of four bottles per person equivalent)."
The Pro40 game is on Sunday September 14 and the championship match against Middlesex on September 17-20.
Tickets for both games are available on 01905 337921 or online at www.wccc.co.uk.
