Yorkshire set for Barbados return
Yorkshire are the latest county to announce a pre-season trip to Barbados in March, joining Derbyshire, Hampshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire and Warwickshire.
The Tykes will defend their Barbados Twenty20 Cup, beginning against Hampshire - who beat them in last year’s Friends Life t20 final - at the Kensington Oval on March 16.

Yorkshire will begin their defence of the Barbados Twenty20 Cup versus fellow county Hampshire at the Kensington Oval on March 16
Andrew Gale’s side will also play two two-day friendlies: versus Derbyshire from March 19 and Notts from March 22 at Windward CC.
Director of cricket Martyn Moxon said: “We are delighted to be returning to Barbados to defend our title.
“Barbados is a perfect location for our pre-season programme. From the excellent facilities to the competitive nature of matches and not forgetting the guaranteed warm weather, you can’t ask for a better location to prepare for the new season.
“We have a lot to work on between now and then, but come March we will be ready for a solid pre-season.”
Yorkshire fly out on March 11 and the first week will see the players train and play a two-day game among themselves.
