Starc prospect for Yorkshire
Yorkshire are set to sign young Australia left-arm seamer Mitchell Starc as an overseas player, subject to red tape.
The 22-year-old, who has played in four Tests and seven one-day internationals, will fly from Sydney on Friday providing he receives a No Objection Certificate from Cricket Australia and the required work permit clearance.

At 22 years of age, Australia left-arm seamer Mitchell Starc has played in four Tests and seven one-day internationals
That would make Starc, who took two wickets in Australia’s Test win over West Indies at Dominica last week, available for the LV= County Championship game with Gloucestershire from May 9.
Starc would be able to play alongside former Australia batsman Phil Jaques, whom the White Rose signed as an overseas player but learned can play for them on a domestic contract.
Having been relegated last year, Yorkshire have begun their championship campaign with three draws under new first-team coach Jason Gillespie.
