England quartet freed up for finals day
Following England's nine-wicket victory over Pakistan in the second npower Test, Stuart Broad (Nottinghamshire), Alastair Cook (Essex), Kevin Pietersen (Hampshire) and Graeme Swann (Nottinghamshire) have been made available to their respective counties for Saturday's Friends Provident t20 finals day at the Rose Bowl.
All four players have been made available for one of the highlights of the domestic calendar, which this year sees Hampshire Royals take on Essex Eagles followed by Notts Outlaws against Somerset with the final scheduled for 7.15pm.
The players will return to the England squad on Sunday to begin preparations for the third npower Test at the Brit Insurance Oval, beginning on Wednesday 18 August.
