Friends Life t20 - experience

World class players hitting huge sixes and the sight of stumps sent flying are familiar sights in Twenty20 cricket but the Friends Life t20 gives spectators an experience beyond the boundary.

So while fans will be drooling as star players perform on the field, spectators will be kept just as entertained by what happens off it.

Dancers, home and away dugouts, FL t20 4 and 6 cards, clappits and county flags, mascot challenges, replay screens, the FL t20 photography experience, guards of honour and merchandise cannons. It's just not cricket. Well, it's t20 cricket.

There will be the usual t20 gimics, like loud music for boundaries and wickets and Sky mic'ing up a player for TV games, but this year's competition offers much more.

Fancy appearing on the big screen? Well look out for the cameramen and roar on your side.

Fans who want to support their side in a more traditional way can wave four and six cards, or bang the new clappits to cheer on a wicket.

At selected matches with replay screens there will also be the chance to text messages of support, the best of which will be displayed on the screen for the whole crowd to view.

And there will also be inflatable guitars at various matches and for Bring Your Band evenings at some counties - and the crowd encouraged to use them at key moments during the action!
