Friends Life t20 - mascot challenge

The Mascot Challenge will be seen around the country at intervals or before the start of play at group games in summer 2011.

This will involve the home and away mascots competing against each other over a simple obstacle course set-up on a section of the outfield.

Or if there is no away mascot, a spectator will be selected to compete against the home mascot. Or on some occasions, if there are no mascots present, two spectators will be selected to compete against each other!

The Course

The course will see competitors begin at Start/Finish line, and then:

• run through a six-pole slalom
• run past various cones, pick up and throw up to three balls underarm at a single stump
• go over hurdles and through their slalom before crossing the Start/Finish line
