Gloucestershire overcame the inconvenience of losing skipper Alex Gidman in the warm-up to reach the Friends Provident Trophy semi-finals with a convincing six-wicket win over Nottinghamshire.

The ECB has announced Worcestershire has been fined £600 by the Cricket Discipline Commission in respect of an offence of playing an unregistered player in a Friends Provident Trophy match.

Sussex have announced ticketing arrangements for their Friends Provident Trophy semi-final at Hove on Sunday 5 July, against either Gloucs or Notts.

The ECB is pleased to confirm the start times for the Friends Provident Trophy semi-finals, which will be played on Sunday 5 July with July 6 in reserve.
Lancs reveal Trophy ticket details
Tickets for Lancashire’s Friends Provident semi-final against Hampshire, to be held at Old Trafford on July 5, will go on sale on Friday.
