TwelfthMan: My account
Dimitri Mascarenhas returned from his stint in the Indian premier League to lead from the front as Hampshire demolished Nottinghamshire by six wickets in the Friends Provident Trophy Group A match at the Rose Bowl.
Mascarenhas, leading Hampshire for the first time this season, took 4-39 as Nottinghamshire slumped to 50 for six after deciding to bat first in overcast conditions.
Mascarenhas dismissed Mark Wagh in his first over, Ali Brown in his second and Alex Hales in his fourth.
With veteran Dominic Cork and Billy Taylor each taking three wickets, Nottinghamshire struggled to overcome their poor start.
But Will Jefferson made the most of being dropped at the wicket, after scoring only one, to make 93 before he was last out as Nottinghamshire mustered 202..
Cork dismissed Adam Voges for 28 with his first ball, and had Samit Patel caught at square-leg by Liam Dawson before Mascarenhas completed his destruction of the top order by having Chris Read taken at midwicket.

Dimitri Mascarenhas produced a fine bowling display to set up a comfortable victory for Hampshire against Notts
Only then did Nottinghamshire begin their recovery, with Jefferson and Paul Franks putting on 94 for the seventh wicket in 24 overs as the pitch eased.
Taylor ended the resistance when he had Franks taken at mid-on by Michael Carberry. He had faced 78 balls and hit four fours, and once again Nottinghamshire were in trouble.
Ten runs later, Taylor had Mark Ealham snapped up by reserve wicketkeeper Tom Burrows, and, although Andre Adams lifted Taylor into the top tier of the pavilion for six, the bowler did not have to wait long for his revenge.
Adams fell to another catch behind, although Jefferson found a useful last-wicket ally in Ryan Sidebottom.
They put on 36 before Jefferson was bowled by Cork from the first ball of the last over, having faced 113 balls and struck two sixes among his six boundaries. Cork finished with figures of 3-13 and Taylor 3-40.
Hampshire never looked in any danger of failing to reach their modest target, and did so with 40 balls to spare.
Michael Lumb and John Crawley put on 68 for the first wicket, and Carberry and Chris Benham added 66 for the fourth.
Lumb was the only one of them to reach a half-century - his 57 runs came off 55 balls and included six fours.
Sidebottom, recalled by England for the second Test at the Riverside, bowled well within himself and finished with 2-39.
His victims were Sean Ervine, who had his off stump knocked back for 34, and Benham - caught at mid-off - but it had no effect on the result.
