Rain ends Leicestershire hopes

Vikram Solanki made a rapid 43 for Worcestershire before rain brought proceedings to a permanent halt
Leicestershire's hopes of reaching the Friends Provident Trophy quarter-finals are over after their clash with Worcestershire at Grace Road was abandoned because of the weather.
The Royals had raced to 67 for one off eight overs when heavy rain returned following a delayed start and the game was finally called off an hour before the scheduled close, with each side taking one point.
Worcestershire stay top of Group A, although nearest rivals Nottinghamshire and Hampshire both have a game in hand.
The start of the game was delayed until 2pm and reduced to 31 overs a side after persistent rain throughout the morning.
The Royals decided to bat and their captain Vikram Solanki gave them an electrifying start with an unbeaten 43 off just 28 balls.
He hit six fours and a six and the only wicket to fall was that of Steve Davies, who was caught at mid-off trying a big hit against AJ Harris.
But when it looked as though the visitors were in a position to pile up a big total the rain returned and, after further inspections, the umpires decided to abandon the match.
