Bath bathed in rain
Gloucestershire Gladiators are assured of finishing top of the Friends Provident Trophy South/West division after today's match against Somerset Sabres was abandoned without a ball being bowled in Bath.
Gloucestershire are now guaranteed a home quarter-final tie, while Somerset may need to win Wednesday's game with Glamorgan in Cardiff to finish runners-up and book their place in the last eight.
Heavy rain throughout the morning meant there was never any hope of play getting under way at the Recreation Ground, a venue which Somerset use for just one match a year.
Umpires Peter Hartley and Jeff Evans officially abandoned the match at 11.30 am.
