Somerset progress to last eight
Somerset are through to the quarter-finals after the point they gained from their abandoned Friends Provident Trophy match against Glamorgan was enough to seal a last-eight place.
The South/West Division tie at the the SWALEC Stadium was called off by umpires Allan Jones and Peter Hartley 90 minutes before the scheduled noon start due to persistent heavy rain.
Somerset duly turned their attention to the Worcestershire-Gloucestershire tie at New Road.
A home win would have sent Worcestershire through by virtue of having recorded more wins, but with that match also abandoned, their hopes were dashed.
