Weather wins at Northampton
Northamptonshire Steelbacks and Nottinghamshire Outlaws were left frustrated by the weather after heavy rain forced their Friends Provident Trophy clash to be abandoned without a ball being bowled at Wantage Road.
The two sides – who are both battling for a place in the last 16 – stay joint second in the Midlands Division – one point behind leaders Leicestershire.
The Outlaws – without England duo Ryan Sidebottom and Stuart Broad – face Ireland at Trent Bridge tomorrow before playing Leicestershire on Wednesday.
The Steelbacks have one game left, against Ireland in Dublin on Wednesday, which is a must win if they are to have any hope of qualifying for the quarter-finals.
