Kartik approached by Lancs
Murali Kartik, the Indian left-arm spinner, has been approached by Lancashire as a possible replacement for Brad Hodge, who is in Australia on a training camp.
Kartik played the final two County Championship matches with Lancashire last year, becoming the first overseas player to claim 10 wickets on debut for the club with his 10-168 against Essex. He ended up with 16 wickets from the two games.
Kartik played through the pain barrier with a shoulder problem during his Lancashire stint and underwent surgery in Australia.
However, he is now happy with his fitness and negotiations are continuing.
