Gloucestershire’s hopes of starting the LV County Championship season with victory over Derbyshire were foiled by rain which prevented any play on the final day of the Division Two match at Bristol.
Gloucestershire had been due to resume on 27 for one in their second innings with a further 145 required to win.
But persistent rain on Friday night and Saturday morning left the County Ground sodden and umpires Rob Bailey and Neil Bainton abandoned the match as a draw at 4pm.
