Salisbury fit again for Warks
Ian Salisbury has recovered from a calf injury to take his place in the Warwickshire squad that travels to Cardiff to play Glamorgan in LV County Championship Division Two.
The former England leg-spinner missed the drawn championship game with Gloucestershire last week, but comes back into a 13-man squad, with Tim Groenewald as back-up.
Salisbury's all-round contribution has been a revelation, scoring 54 not out and 20 not out to lead Warwickshire to victory on debut against Northamptonshire, and an 81 in the draw with Middlesex.
If Salisbury is selected, Ant Botha would look the likeliest to make way.
Warwickshire will be desperate to get Darren Maddy back for the Twenty20 Cup, in which he has been a pioneering figure.
But the captain is expected to be out for another four weeks with the broken thumb sustained last month against Middlesex.
South African fast bowler Monde Zondeki has ended his underwhelming spell as overseas player, in which he took nine wickets at an average of 42.33 in championship cricket.
Zondeki's replacement, Chris Martin, is playing in the npower Test series for New Zealand and will be available later in the month.
Glamorgan are expected to keep faith with the same XI despite two consecutive innings defeats.
Northamptonshire and Leicestershire have both feasted on Glamorgan’s bowling attack, but Jason Gillespie, Alex Wharf, David Harrison, Jamie Dalrymple, Robert Croft and Ryan Watkins are again expected to play at Cardiff.
Dean Cosker is named in the squad as a back-up spin option, but young pace bowling prospect James Harris is again absent.
