Glamorgan missing pace pair
Glamorgan are without fast bowlers Jason Gillespie and James Harris for the LV County Championship Division Two encounter with Middlesex at Colwyn Bay.
Gillespie sustained a hamstring injury during the NatWest Pro40 defeat to Kent on Sunday but the former Australia fast bowler is hopeful of playing in this Sunday's Pro40 match with the Leicestershire Foxes.
Eighteen-year-old Harris, meanwhile, is in the England Under-19 squad for the one-day series against their counterparts from New Zealand.
Captain David Hemp returns to lead Glamorgan following international duty with Bermuda in Ireland last week.
Seamer David Harrison is also back in the county's 12-man squad along with all-rounder Ryan Watkins who has been sidelined in recent weeks with a side strain.
Middlesex are in championship action for the first time in a fortnight following their Twenty20 Cup triumph 10 days ago.
Ed Joyce continues to lead the side in the absence of the injured Ed Smith who is recovering from an ankle injury.
Seamer Chris Silverwood is also still missing with the knee injury that he picked up in mid-May.
