No play was possible on the second day of the LV= County Championship Division Two game at Cheltenham.

Northamptonshire were due to resume on 175 for six in reply to Gloucestershire's 147.

But heavy overnight rain continued throughout the morning and umpires David Millns and Tim Robinson abandoned play shortly after midday.
