More rain misery at Bristol

Gloucestershire and Glamorgan were yet to get their LV= County Championship Division Two match started after play at Bristol’s County Ground was washed out for the second successive day.

Umpires Richard Illingworth and Ismail Dawood held several inspections, but saturated areas around the edges of the square remained a concern.

Heavy rain descended on the ground before a planned inspection at 3pm and the umpires decided shortly afterwards that no play would be possible.
