Rain hits Cheltenham again

No play was possible on the opening day of Gloucestershire’s LV= County Championship Division Two match against Leicestershire at Cheltenham.

Umpires Nigel Cowley and Jeff Evans decided at 1:30pm that the College Ground was too damp for there to be any chance of getting play started.

Gloucestershire have now lost four out of seven days at this year’s Cheltenham Festival to wet weather and two of the other three were also disrupted.
