Tremlett back in Hampshire attack

Chris Tremlett is back in a 12-man squad for Hampshire ahead of their clash with Warwickshire

Hampshire will welcome back Chris Tremlett for Tuesday's LV= County Championship clash against Warwickshire, but Nic Pothas remains on the sidelines.

Tremlett was rested for the rain-affected draw against Sussex, but will return to boost the bowling attack, alongside Dimitri Mascarenhas and Dominic Cork.

However, Hampshire's first choice wicketkeeper Pothas will miss the game with a slight groin strain he picked up at Taunton, although he is hopeful of being fit for Saturday`s Friends Provident Trophy final at Lord's.

Tom Burrows will again deputise for Pothas in an experienced Hampshire 12-man squad, which also includes John Crawley and opener Michael Carberry, who will be looking to build on his superb century against Sussex in his side's last championship match.

Warwickshire have named the same 12-man squad which drew with Lancashire last time out.

Boyd Rankin has again been named in the squad and will be looking to build on last week`s return to action in which he bowled 13 overs, taking one wicket.

Warwickshire will be looking to Ian Bell for runs after the England batsman found some form in the rain-affected at Egbaston, notching up a superb 106 in Warwickshire's only innings in a formidable partnership with Jonathan Trott, who reached 79.
