Steve Harmison could make his first appearance of the summer when Durham take on Somerset at Taunton in the LV= County Championship.
Former England paceman Harmison has been unable to force his way into Durham’s team this year, but has been selected in a 13-man squad for the only one of this week’s eight fixtures to start tomorrow.
Harmison, Liam Plunkett and Jamie Harrison all provide seam options for Geoff Cook’s men in the absence of Graham Onions. Dale Benkenstein is also unavailable for Durham due to a shoulder injury.
Somerset are boosted by the return of Jos Buttler, while seamers Alfonso Thomas and Gemaal Hussain have also been included in their 14-man party.
Buttler is fit again after splitting the webbing on a hand in fielding practice prior to the reverse fixture at the Emirates Durham ICG two weeks ago.

Thomas only arrived back from Indian Premier League duty with Pune Warriors today and will have his fitness assessed, while Hussain came through a club game at the weekend as he continues his recovery from a hamstring problem.
Somerset director of cricket Brian Rose told this website: “We will see how Alfonso and Gemaal are before the game and then finalise our team.
“Whatever happens it is good to have both back in contention after seeing so many senior players ruled out. Just having ‘Fonz’ back in the dressing room will be a boost because he has such a positive outlook on the game and it rubs off on others.”
