Batsman Darren Maddy has been named in Warwickshire’s squad for the clash against Middlesex in Division Two of the LV County Championship.
The former England rbatsman hit his 25th first-class hundred on his comeback game from a broken thumb against Bangladesh A, and has been named in the 12-man squad that will travel to Uxbridge today.
Seamer Lee Daggett has also been selected following a combined haul of six wickets in the tour game at Edgbaston.
Batsman Ian Bell is unavailable due to England commitments, while long-term absentees Ian Westwood (finger) and Jimmy Anyon (ankle) still occupy the injury list.
Nick Compton has been recalled to Middlesex's squad in the place of fellow batsman Billy Godleman.
Off-spinner Shaun Udal has also been included in the 12-man squad after missing the recent draw with Gloucestershire due to a knee problem.
Captain Ed Smith, however, is still missing with the ankle injury he sustained in the Twenty20 Cup match against Essex on June 12, while Andrew Strauss is also unavailable due to England commitments.
