Rain stalls Worcestershire
Worcestershire’s hopes of pressing home their advantage against promotion rivals Warwickshire were dented by the weather.
The third day of the LV County Championship Division Two clash between the top two sides was called off without a ball being bowled at New Road.
Worcestershire, who went into the game 17 points ahead of their opponents, are due to resume tomorrow on 45 for one in their second innings - leading by 133 - although the weather forecast is far from promising.
Worcestershire may press on and set Warwickshire a fourth-innings target, or they may choose to settle for the bonus points and protect their advantage at the top of the table.
