Craig Kieswetter will miss the LV County Championship game against Durham after injuring his ankle in a game of football at Trent Bridge on Friday.

Although the wicketkeeper does not have any broken bones, he has damaged his ligaments and is not likely to be fit in time to play

Carl Gazzard, who played a handful of first-team games before Kieswetter came on the scene, is set to take his place in the squad.

That is the only change to the XI which drew with fellow title-hopefuls Nottinghamshire in a frustrating game at Trent Bridge.

Steve Harmison returns to the Durham squad for their crucial match with Somerset.

Both teams are still in with a chance of winning Division One and Durham will be boosted by Harmison’s pace and bounce on what is known to be a placid batting track at Taunton.

Graham Onions is the man to miss out, with the other 11 names unchanged from the game against Lancashire at the Riverside.

Only 95 overs were possible in that last game, but Will Smith was still able to rack up 144 as he continues a fantastic season.
