Former England seamer Andy Caddick is in line to make his first Somerset appearance of the summer after being included in a 13-man squad to face Yorkshire at Taunton.

The 40-year-old has been plagued by back and neck problems this year but is ready to return for the LV= County Championship Divison One fixture, replacing young leg-spinner Max Waller in the party.

Somerset coach Andy Hurry is otherwise set to keep faith with the team that beat Sussex by 35 runs at Hove last time out.

Yorkshire are without former England captain Michael Vaughan who is set to appear at an Edgbaston press conference tomorrow.

All-rounders Adil Rashid and Tim Bresnan are also absent, with England Lions who face Australia at New Road from Wednesday.

Wicketkeeper Gerard Brophy, who missed Yorkshire’s last Championship encounter with a finger injury, is set to remain behind the stumps from the Twenty20 Cup side.
