No play was possible on the final day of the LV County Championship Division One match between Hampshire and title-holders Sussex at the Rose Bowl due to rain.
The weather had intervened on all four days meaning less than two full innings were possible in what was shaping up to be an evenly-matched contest.
Murray Goodwin scored a hundred and there were seven wickets for Shane Bond on the opening day, with Michael Lumb hitting back with 82 for the hosts on Friday.
Robin Martin-Jenkins took three wickets for Sussex, before rain had the final say and the match was deemed to be a draw.
