No play was possible for a second day between Sussex and Lancashire in the LV= County Championship Division One game at the PROBIZ County Ground.

Heavy overnight rain in Hove gave umpires Mark Benson and Nick Cook no choice but to rule out the possibility of any action today.

Their announcement came at 11.05am,. the scheduled start of play.
