Davies ready for Durham return

Mark Davies has not played a senior game for Durham since April, but is ready to return from an ankle injury
Fast bowler Mark Davies is available to Durham for their LV= County Championship trip to second-placed Somerset following his recovery from an ankle injury.
Davies, who was called up to England’s Test squad in South Africa last December, has not played a senior match for the two-time defending Divison One champions since April.
Davies’ return to fitness helps to offset the absence of fellow pacemen Steve Harmison and Callum Thorp due to foot and calf injuries respectively.
Durham squad: Michael Di Venuto, Mark Stoneman, Gordon Muchall, Dale Benkenstein, Ian Blackwell, Ben Stokes, Phil Mustard (captain & wicketkeeper), Scott Borthwick, Liam Plunkett, Mitch Claydon, Ben Harmison, Chris Rushworth, Mark Davies.
Leaders Nottinghamshire have been forced into at least one change for the visit of Lancashire to Trent Bridge with Australia batsman David Hussey returning home.
Adam Voges, Hussey’s replacement, has not yet joined up with Nottinghamshire, who have a game in hand on Somerset and third-placed Yorkshire.
Lancashire, who are fourth, have named an unchanged squad following last week’s victory against Kent at Canterbury.
Nottinghamshire squad: Alex Hales, Matt Wood, Mark Wagh, Samit Patel, Stephen Mullaney, Ali Brown, Chris Read (captain & wicketkeeper), Paul Franks, Andre Adams, Ryan Sidebottom, Darren Pattinson, Luke Fletcher.
Lancashire squad: Glen Chapple (captain), Karl Brown, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Mark Chilton, Steven Croft, Gareth Cross, Kyle Hogg, Paul Horton, Gary Keedy, Simon Kerrigan, Sajid Mahmood, Tom Smith, Luke Sutton (wicketkeeper).
Chris Tremlett is set to return for Surrey, who take on Leicestershire at Grace Road in Division Two.
Tremlett was rested during yesterday’s Clydesdale Bank 40 victory over the Unicorns, but has been named in Surrey’s squad.
Surrey squad: Rory Hamilton-Brown (captain), Tom Lancefield, Arun Harinath, Mark Ramprakash, Steven Davies (wicketkeeper), Gary Wilson, Matthew Spriegel, Jason Roy, Gareth Batty, Chris Tremlett, Jade Dernbach, Stuart Meaker, Steven Cheetham.
