Walker missing for Kent
Kent will be without batsman Matt Walker for the visit of league leaders Yorkshire to Tunbridge Wells in LV County Championship Division One after he suffered a hand injury in the win against Surrey.
Neil Dexter is likely to take Walker’s place in Kent’s line-up while Robert Joseph is also included in the 12-man squad. Coach Graham Ford is unlikely to make any further changes after last week’s innings victory at Whitgift School.
Ford has allowed experienced seamer Martin Saggers to join Division Two Essex on a month’s loan as Saggers is yet to make a championship appearance for Kent this season.
Yorkshire have named a 13-man squad as they hope to get their campaign back on track after their first defeat of the season.
Despite two fine innings from Kolpak signing Jacques Rudolph, Yorkshire went down to an Ottis Gibson-inspired Durham by six wickets in their previous match.
However, Yorkshire have stuck with the same XI who played in that encounter, adding Steven Patterson and England Under-19’s Adam Lyth to their squad, which already boasts several international players.
