Derbyshire’s LV County Championship Division Two match against Glamorgan ended in a draw when no play was possible on the final day at Derby.
Heavy rain throughout the morning left the outfield saturated and, with no improvement in the forecast, umpires Neil Mallender and Michael Gough took the decision to abandon the game at 11am.
Both teams take eight points from the draw, which is a blow to Derbyshire's slender chances of winning promotion from Division Two.
