Malik joins Worcestershire
Nadeem Malik, the former England Under 19 seam bowler, has signed a two-year contract with Worcestershire after leaving Trent Bridge.
The 21 year-old was released by Nottinghamshire at his own request last week.
The 6' 5" inch bowler was born in Nottingham and made his debut for the county in 2001 but, despite taking 22 first-class wickets in 2002, he has found difficulty in securing regular first-team cricket at Trent Bridge and is keen to further his career elsewhere.
He played for England Under 129s in the one-day series against the West Indies in 2001 and in the Under 19 Tests against India the following year.
